My stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon was a mix of wonderful service and some hiccups. The early check-in and room upgrade were really good, allowing me to relax right away. However, I faced a few challenges with room service and maintenance that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, the beautiful view and comfortable accommodations made for a pleasant trip, despite the couple of downsides.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious and elegantly designed, featuring walnut wood furniture and a lovely view of the park. The bed was comfortable, ensuring I slept well during my stay.
Service
7.0
The hotel staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The check-in process was quick, and they provided detailed benefits for my ambassador status. However, I did face some issues with room service and maintenance that could have been improved.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, situated near a beautiful park and close to tourist buses, though accessing the metro involved a bit of a walk. With its calming area, I appreciated being away from the tourist hustle.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast had a great selection, with standouts like rice cakes and custard tarts. While the dining experience could use some improvement in service speed, it was mostly enjoyable.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered good facilities, but I was disappointed to find no swimming pool, and I faced issues with the hair dryer. However, room service had a decent menu and the staff were quick to assist.

7.0/10

My stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon was pleasant, highlighted by the beautiful park just across the street and the attentive service in the club lounge. However, I found the breakfast experience to be a bit lacking in charm, especially with large groups around. While the location was decent, I expected it to be closer to the old town, making it less convenient for exploring the historic sites.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, featuring a lovely view of Lisbon which added to the experience. However, the bathroom felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the accommodations.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay. From check-in at the club lounge to their assistance with my special requests, they really went above and beyond, making me feel valued.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated in a calm area right next to a beautiful park, which was nice for leisurely walks. However, it was still about a 20-minute Uber ride to the more tourist-heavy spots in the city, which was a little inconvenient.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast spread offered some variety, it wasn't particularly impressive, especially when catering to large groups. The experience felt a bit too chaotic for my taste, but the Akla restaurant is a gem worth the visit for other meals.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities provided at the hotel such as room service and the club lounge added to my overall experience. However, I wish the coffee quality at breakfast had been better.

7.2/10

I had a pleasant stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon, but I did notice some areas for improvement. The hotel is clean and offers a luxurious atmosphere, but the room sizes were smaller than I expected for a five-star hotel. While the hotel staff was really good, attentive, and welcoming, the location felt a bit distant from the main attractions of Lisbon, making it less convenient than I had hoped.

Rooms
7.0
My room was modern and clean, but I found it smaller than anticipated and a bit outdated for a five-star hotel.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and genuinely focused on making my stay enjoyable, though there were moments of slow response to requests.
Location
6.0
The location was in a nice neighborhood, but it was quite a trek to reach the heart of Lisbon and popular sites, requiring some effort to explore.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful variety, while the limited lunch and dinner menu could have been better.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had beautiful common areas, but the lack of a swimming pool and some outdated amenities slightly dampened my experience.

I had a lovely stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon, with a spacious room that offered fantastic views of Parque Eduardo VII. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the breakfast, but the hotel's location was a bit far from the main attractions, which required some walking. Overall, the staff service was really good, leaving me with a sense of warmth and hospitality throughout my stay.

Rooms

My room was spacious and well-appointed, providing comfort for both work and relaxation. I particularly liked the dressing area that kept my belongings organized.

Location

While the hotel was situated in a peaceful area near the park, it was a bit far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Lisbon, which required some extra effort to reach the main attractions.
Dining
9.0
The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options, and the service in the dining area enhanced the experience. I particularly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict.
Facilities

The hotel offered good amenities, although I didn’t have the opportunity to explore everything due to time constraints. The wireless internet was free and fast, which was great.

I had a fantastic 10-day stay at Intercontinental Lisbon. The spacious room offered a stunning view of the Marques de Pombal statue, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My only downside was the gym being unavailable for personal use, but other facilities made up for it.

Rooms
10.0
The room was spacious and nicely furnished with a large bathroom and high-quality linens. Housekeeping was excellent, often finishing their work by the time I returned from breakfast.
Service
10.0
The staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming, handling requests efficiently and exhibiting genuine care for my experience. Rita, the Director of Guest Experience, truly elevated my stay, ensuring everything was perfect.
Location
10.0
Located adjacent to a beautiful park, the hotel offers a tranquil atmosphere away from bustling tourist areas while still being a 10-minute walk from the lively Avenida da Liberdade. That made accessing the city's attractions very convenient.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed a robust breakfast buffet, though it was a bit pricey and offered more food than I generally eat. The dining experience at Akla was good, though I found it a tad expensive compared to nearby options.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel amenities included quality room service and excellent facilities. However, the unavailability of the gym was disappointing, especially when accommodations were not offered for its use elsewhere.
